Nidzica Community Foundation now supports three scholarship programs:
Over the past 17 years of operations, the Nidzica Community Foundation has awarded over 755 scholarships to students in need for the amount of 1.8 million PLN. Scholarship Programs provide substantive financial support.
Participation in the program gives young people the opportunity to participate in fundraising for good causes. Scholarship holders are co-organisers of educational events such as the Science Fair Niezapominajka, which is held regularly every first Saturday of September. Youths can also participate in the organisation of many events organised by the CF including: charity sports events such as Run Niezapominajka and the Day of Charity. In the summer they lead educational activities for children.
The CF also supports the actions of other local organisations. It has donated over 865 500 PLN in the form of grants for various local projects. This has resulted in the completion of over 395 different projects. The Foundation runs its own educational programs and programs related to the promotion of philanthropy. One of the most interesting things about NCF is the actual property on which the CF operates. They have divided a huge piece of land into several areas. One building on the property is their Forget-Me-Not House, an educational centre for children and adolescents. The goal of this centre is to help youths to develop their passions and interests. The Nidzica Community Foundation understands that it is important to provide a community forum such as the Forget-Me-Not House to build tradition and facilitate development of young people and the communities where they live.
